Garmin Cyprus Troodos Terra

 

Μοναδικές στιγμές αναμένεται να ζήσουν οι δρομείς στην αθλητική εκδήλωση που διοργανώνει το σωματείο δρομέων Δρό.Με.Α. Racing με εκκίνηση και τερματισμό την πλατεία Τροόδους στις 09/06/2019. Η εκδήλωση θα περιλαμβάνει τον Ορεινό Μαραθώνιο ‘Garmin Cyprus Troodos Marathon’ 42km, τον 'Troodos Green Race' 15km, τον 'Charity Run' 5km και Παιδικό αγώνα 600μ. Στην φετινή εκδήλωση εντάσσεται για πρώτη φορά και ορεινός αγωνάς ‘Troodos Green Race +’ 27km.

Οι διαδρομές των αγωνισμάτων θα διασχίσουν μέσα απο τα μονοπάτια της φύσης περιμετρικά του Τρόοδος με μοναδική και πανοραμική θέα. Τόσο στον μαραθώνιο 42km, αλλά και στον αγώνα των 15km, οι δρομείς θα πατήσουν στο ψηλότερο σημείο της Κύπρου τρέχοντας πάνω από τα σύννεφα!

Στόχος της εκδήλωσης είναι η ευαισθητοποίηση του κοινού μέσω του αθλητισμού για μία πιο οικολογική συνείδηση αναφορικά με την προστασία των δασών της Κύπρου αλλά και η φιλανθρωπική προσφορά. Όλα τα έσοδα από τον αγώνα των 5χλμ θα διατεθούν στο στονφιλανθρωπικό ύδριμα Funraising.

Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής στους ορειβατικούς αγώνες τρεξίματος (μαραθώνιο 42km, 27km και 15km), οι οποίοι έχουν αυξημένο βαθμό δυσκολίας λόγω της ιδιομορφίας του εδάφους αλλά και της μεγάλης θετικής υψομετρικής, έχουν άτομα από 18 ετών και άνω.

Μέγας Χορηγός της εκδήλωσης είναι η Garmin Cyprus. Μέγας Χορηγός Δρό.Με.Α Racing για το 2019 η Cablenet.

Unique and thrilling experiences will be offered to the participants of the running events that will be organized by Dro.Me.A Racing in Troodos on 09/06/2019. The races will include the ‘Garmin Cyprus Troodos Marathon 42km’, the ‘Troodos Green Race' 15km’, the 'Charity Run’ 5km and the Kids Race 600m. The races will start and finish in Troodos square. In this years event a new trail running race will be held for the first time; the ‘Troodos Green Race +’ 27km.

The runners will compete through Troodos natural trails and those participating in the Marathon 42km and the Troodos Green race 15km will ‘step foot’ on Cyprus’ highest point which offers a breathtaking view!

The event aims to promote an ecological conscience towards the protection of Cyprus’ forests as well as promote charity. In addition it aims at creating opportunities for social sport in the natural environment. All proceeds from the ‘Charity Run’ 5km race will be donated to a Funraising.

Runners from 18 years old and above may take part in the Marathon 42km and the Troodos Green race 15km, events that have an increased degree of difficulty due to the rocky terrain as well as the increasing positive ascent.
